LANGUAGE - WORD FAMILY HOUSES - NOUNS

A hands-on sorting and classification game that introduces children to the concept of nouns in a fun and visual way. By grouping images into “noun houses,” children build a strong foundation in grammar while enhancing observation, vocabulary, and thinking skills.

Age Group:

6 to 9 years

Pack Includes:

• 4 mats for each type of noun, namely Person, Place, Animal and Thing (A4 Size)
  
• 48 cards with an assortment of images; 12 cards corresponding to each type of mat.

How to play:

• The child needs to identify the images on each card and match them to the correct corresponding mat.
• Encourage the child to say the word aloud and explain why it belongs to that category.

Game Extensions:

• Odd One Out: Arrange a mix of cards; the child identifies the one that doesn’t belong and explains why.
• Rapid Sort: Time-based sorting challenge.
• Describe & Guess: Describe the card, and the child has to guess it.
