SORTING MATS - KNOW YOUR TRANSPORT

This hands-on activity helps children learn about different modes of transport in a fun and interactive way. Children sort vehicles into categories such as land, air and water transport while developing classification, observation and early learning skills through play.

Age Group:

2 to 5 years

Pack Includes:

• 4 mats of various modes of transport, namely Air, Water, Land and Construction vehicles (A5 Size).
• Loose images of the variety of transport vehicles.

How to play:

• Child needs to recognize and match the vehicles to the correct mode of transport mat.

Game Extensions:

• Discuss each mode of transport and where we see them.
• Ask children which transport they have travelled in.
• Fast vs slow transport sorting.
• Big vs small vehicles sorting.
• Memory game – Show cards, hide them, and ask the child to recall the vehicles.
  
• Sound game – make vehicle sounds and guess the transport.
• Odd one out- Place 4 cards and ask which one does not belong and why.
