MATCH IT - STACK OF RINGS

An engaging visual matching activity that introduces children to the concept of perspective through colourful ring stacks. Children learn to interpret top (aerial) views and match them with corresponding stacked arrangements, building strong spatial and cognitive skills through play.

Age Group:

4 to 7 years

Pack Includes:

• 12 Stack Cards (A7 size) showing colourful ring stacks.
• 12 Top View Cards (A7 size) corresponding to each stack.
  

How to play:

• The child needs to observe a stack, noting the order and colours of rings from top to bottom.
• The child then needs to identify the correct top (aerial) view that represents how the stack would look from above.
• Ask guiding questions like “Which colour is on top?” to support thinking.

Game Extensions:

• Build real stacks using rings or blocks and draw the top view.
• Reverse play: match stack from given top view.
• Timed challenge for quick matching.
