PATTERN & SEQUENCE - FENCE THE FARM

A farm-themed activity where children recreate fencing patterns using colourful popsicle sticks. Through guided and open-ended play, children develop patterning skills, visual discrimination, and creativity while engaging in a fun, hands-on learning experience.

Age Group:

3 to 6 years

Pack Includes:

• 10 farm fencing pattern cards (A5 Size).
• 1 Farm Fence playing mat (A4 Size).
  
• Colourful popsicle sticks.

How to play:

• Child needs to pick a fencing pattern task card and place the popsicle sticks on the farm fence mat to match the pattern shown.
• Encourage children to describe the pattern verbally while building.

Game Extensions:

• Memory play: Observe the pattern, remove it, and recreate from memory.
• Colour Activity: Sort and arrange sticks by colour.
• Create your own fence pattern, ask the child to observe and recreate the pattern.
• Free play with imaginative farm designs.
